Salvo's Thursday Report

Today's topic was the bush Fire victims in Victoria ...
All the ladies have decided to do a 12 - 1/2 inch block... to their own choice

(2) each if they can manage..


that will bring at least 120 blocks and they will be made up into quilts..................
( that will be a very busy working bee that day)



when completed they will be donated....... so family's will have a cuddle Quilt......what a great idea ......

It is so typical of true aussie spirit to see people pulling together and doing what they can with what they have for the fire victims.
How was that Koala poor thing.

It's amazing how *small* our country becomes when the whole place works together to help fellow Aussies in times of distress.

Jeni, thank you so much for my birthday fat 1/4's! They are exactly the sort of fabrics I would choose myself, and I especially have a thing for funky stripes at the moment. I really appreciate your card and best wishes as I look 50 in the eye. :-)

It's wonderful to see all the quilters getting together to make blocks and quilts for the fire victims. We're spread so far and wide apart but at times like these we all pull together. It warms the heart :o).
