Happy another completed Project…..
This year at the Brisbane craft show ,I literally fell into this stall…..
2 young Girls that go to Japan and bring back gorgeous and very modern fabric…..So different to my usual choice……

Seeing as Dragonfly’s are my favourite…
I just had to purchase this material …First thoughts make cushions covers…..
Every day looking at the material I just couldn't’make up my mind…. so file it away….
Then about 2 weeks ago Place mats came to mind
matching Tea Cosy….
Just thrilled with the completed project….
Now I need to find the card
with the girls address for more fabric…..
Just amazing what they had …….and good to see young girls very passionate about the craft……

Crabbing Time

While Kylie Ed & Elia
were over visiting
We decided to have a crabbing trip & over night stay in the boat
(Grannie me)
decided that I would take

my Tea Cosy to finish and crochet the flowers on top ....
Hand sewing Place mats binding
So I was very happy..
And fit in cooking on the BBQ
Just before we
pulled up for the night the heaven's
open and then bang
we hit the bottom.....
Wayne the skipper
(husband not a happy chappy)

But there is one good thing about being stuck on the bottom
No rocking all night....
So Kylie caught a large Bream
I caught something soooooooooooooooooo
big it almost spun the boat around LOL
all in all
it was a great adventure

It doesn't matter what happens .....
Just being with the family
laughing and having fun

Ed thought this was a Pirate Ship

Look at Elia playing with Grannies Pin Cushion

Breakfast next morning and Sunshine
