Get Red Red Ready for Christmas

By Natalie Ross

About 18 months ago I was visiting The Patchwork Angel…and this book caught my eye…

So I have studied it up...

until about 2 months ago

when I started this project

Well not only have I made the table runner …..

I machine Quilted it also..

First article I have quilted……

The feeling of achievement is great….

I am sure

more I do the better I will get.

How pleased when the last stitch on the binding….

I went snip.

And then I could set the table and sit

admire my work

…..my oh my……..

I felt my work is completed…

sit back and enjoy cake and coffee……..

The Masking Tape
is very hard to get off if you sew over it
I learnt That

I have never used masking tape for quilting lines. I had not thought about a problem if you stitch over it. A friend of mine uses it for straight lines when hand quilting.

Beautiful Jeni. That's why I want to get some confidence with machine quilting so I can feel so good about doing the whole project myself. Love your fabric choices. That pic on your header just has me in awe everythime I see it = lovely! Tracee xx
