My Sewing Room Is Not Well At All

 

 

The last 6 months

I just sew and complete projects and not put away………
(very naughty)

Fabric I would purchase and be very keen

To start another project ….but would end up finding

a spare piece of carpet …and plonk it down here ……………..There’s always tomorrow to tidy…… well the camera Tells it how it finds the room ………..As you will see I have been doing a lot of plonking and not much putting away ………………..

It has been a mammoth job …I tell myself never again …………

Now I am excited to get into a few new projects for 2013.…………….

And its great to open draws and cupboards and find just what I need

So now the sewing room it well again

Busy ..Busy ..Busy..

 

What a Great Feeling

When you are starting to see the light at the end of the tunnel………….

This year I have been busy making handmade gifts for friends and family………..

And 10 minute Table Runner

Made many……………

By the way the first took about 1 hour just couldn’t get my head around the instructions so what better way than ask…After being shown well no stopping 10 table runners here we come …………..

　

Also I started knitting dolly’s outfits for Elia

For her 5^th Birthday we gave her a Cabbage Patch Doll

Yes with Birth Certificate…..

They are back producing them again my girls had one 30 old years ago …….

And yes the Answer is they are still unattractive after all these years

Poor doll.

After a very busy week

I had a peep in the Cookie Jar …

Up at 5am Today and a batch of Sultana

Corn Flake cookies

Now ready for morning tea

So Happy with the cake

Its raining but what a great time we all had.....

The rain is so much needed………. So I am thinking it was a good luck charm …………..

Starting with games … feel like a little girl so much fun………….

Pin the Dummy on the baby well laughing and giggles………….

Holding baby in one arm crying………..Baby screaming………… Then hanging washing with one hand and trying to peg…………..I am sure we have all held our baby’s and done this……………Lunch was yummy

The boys arrive back just in time to cut the cake and have coffee

3 little baby’s all day such a delight …One little one didn’t even know he was here……………

Gatton Motorcycle Swap Meet

My husband being a lover of

English Motor cycles

was like a kid in a CANDY shop

Last Saturday we set off early to

Gatton Show Grounds ……..

I have never………. Ever ………..Ever………. seen so many Bikes and stalls selling wares….

Even the old rusted parts.that I thought should go to the local tip……….. being snap up ... buyers leaving with a giant smile….

Must have been at least 400 stalls …………

As we left I said ………..I just need to call into the Patch Work Shop……….. needing a few more fabrics as we do….so all in all ……. a great day out…..

I think……….. NO…..I know we are going back next year ……………
