Have just completed 6 table runners for the Fete AT Ed & Elia’s school in November

I am very happy with them…..

I am so happy with the Quilts

This morning started to pop each one in the post

All address to each of the Little people so they have a parcel to arrive to them

I was lucky to have Riley (number 2 Grandson) the weekend…. So he help out with the pictures

A little visitor for the weekend

Leon is now 4 months old

At the end of May he will be going to Japan to visit his other Grandparents

Just for 10 days oh how I will miss them all

Made arrangements for a group of about 20 Salvo Gals to a class

We were told to bring old jeans & 5inch material squares & 5inch square wadding…well Victoria had a wonderful machine (dye I think that’s its name )  our jeans went threw and wonderful perfect circles arrive out the other end….. The result at the end of the class

Jeni's Birthday Get Together

What a great hostess & friend

As our birthdays are a few days apart

Tricia & I from the Salvation Army sewing group celebrate our birthday

We had such a grand day even the rain that we have had on the Gold Coast since I don't know how long since the sun has shone .....didn't even take away from the day

As you can see great gifts ...see the wheel cover ...........we have so many clever people in our group......must put on thinking cap for my gifts to them

Is This The Right Thing To Do After A Hip Replacement......

Just 8 days after( Wayne’s(2^nd)  hip replacement he said I feel o.k. let’s go to Esk for Easter… he is not aloud to drive for 4 weeks…Guess who the chauffer is……

Wayne sits in the back he needs to stretch out for the journey……….

……I am thinking this is going to be a very restful Easter break for him …I turn my back for 2 minutes …next he is hand mowing with 1 crutch…driving the tractor…  crutches pride of place on the back of the tractor …What can I do……………hope nothing goes wrong ……………….I told him that I would email these picture’s to the Specialist …….as I am sure he would be able to do a documentary  on what you can do just after 8 days after the operation…………..It must be a man thing……..

Then we get a horrid storm he is down the paddock. And the only rain coat to shelter him is bubble wrap…WHAT CAN I SAY

Then I decided onto the Gumtree Site

 Looking for wing back chairs...

Well it seems that every one was selling pairs and I just need 1 chair

I feel what a bargain

 Beautiful Birds

When the grandchildren visit

Well This visit he found a mum and her baby together....how exciting ......not often you see

this...........

Kylies Stash & Slash Quilt

 

I just love sewing these Quilts……. not just quick……… but doesn’t matter how many you do always a pleasing result …..

Last August (that’s sounds funny being the 1^st day already into 2013)

I found a lovely piece of fabric at a curtain shop Kylie found in New Zealand …………well home it came and yes I match material …and so the Quilt is now complete …A little material  left over to make a plastic bag dispenser…for the kitchen ………….

 

I was also Kylie's Secret Santa last year …And her hubby had purchase a Brother machine for her Christmas Gift…so I made a sewing machine cover and Table mat to match…just love the Quilted double side material ……..
